The integration of mining and coffee farming represents a sustainable development model that can serve as an example for other communities, with agriculture being a complement to the traditional mining activity that has characterized the region for more than 500 years.

Marmato Gold Coffee
The association of specialty coffee producers of Marmato (APROCAESMAR), which was born from the shared ideas and needs of its members, plays a crucial role in representing their interests and defending their well-being. By working together with Marmato Gold Coffee (MGC), an alliance is established where the experience and both human and logistical resources of MGC are used to design and promote the proposal that would be presented to the company Aris Mining; so that it was included as a project in their corporate social responsibility programs.
Aris Mining
The Aris Mining company, through its corporate social responsibility programs, allocates a series of economic resources that allow the consolidation of the collective project of the Association of Specialty Coffee Producers of Marmato. The aforementioned financing led to training workshops and visits. techniques of the different APROCAESMAR programs
